Drylining covers a range of internal construction applications that have a number of benefits to construction sites. The use of light weight internal partitions allows flexibility to the client and architect when designing the internal layout of a building. The different systems available can provide the fire and acoustic ratings that are required, whilst allowing freedom of decorative design.
CM Drylining are experts in partition walling. A partition wall is a wall that separates or divides a room although partition walling is not usually not load bearing. Partition walls are constructed of many materials, including steel panels, bricks, concrete, or glass blocks.
MF is a suspended ceiling system suitable for most internal drylining applications. The fully concealed grid and ceiling lining can be used in conjunction with Gyproc plasterboard's and Gyptone and Rigitone acoustic ceiling boards to create a seamless, monolithic appearance. CM Drylining have installed MF ceilings for many of our clients gaining a reputation for innovation and creating a finished product to be proud of.
Following up our quality partitioning and drylining service CM Drylining are also recommended installers of all types of suspended ceiling applications including SAS, Armstrong and Luxalon. A suspended ceiling is a secondary ceiling that is hung below the main structural soffit of a building. The void above the suspended ceiling can be used to conceal unsightly obstructions such as electric wiring and ductwork.
CM Drylining can offer a full taping and jointing service. Dry lining walls and taping and jointing the taper edge plasterboard allows walls to be lined without the need to apply a plaster finish. The slightly tapered edges allow the joint tape to be covered with jointing compound and left flush with the main surface of the plasterboard. The jointing compound can be applied as a smooth finish requiring only a light sanding before decorating.
Rendering, when applied to the construction or renovation of buildings, refers to the application of cement to external and/or internal brick or concrete walls in order to achieve a smooth or deliberately textured surface. Rendering can improve the waterproofing and fire rating of a building.
Thistle Hardwall is a gypsum undercoat plaster for use on most masonry. With a final coat of Thistle Multi-Finish, it provides a smooth, inert, high quality surface to internal walls. The combination has superior impact resistance, earlier surface drying, a higher than normal resistance to efflorescence, and gives a durable base for the application of decorative finishes.

SFS is a fast-track, pre-galvanised steel framing system, which is fixed as infill between the main structural frame members and provides a carrier for insulation, exterior cladding and interior Gyproc plasterboards. SFS frames are designed and manufactured to suit the dimensions, loading and deflection criteria for each floor height panel.
